This Magenta saree is part of Panaya's Katan Silk Collection. Katan silk is the most prized variety of Banarasi weaving — made from tightly twisted pure mulberry silk threads that give a crisp, structured drape with a natural golden sheen.

Kadwa weave is one of the oldest and most authentic Banarasi weaving techniques. In Kadwa, each motif is individually woven into the fabric — thread by thread — without any floating threads on the reverse side. This produces an exceptionally clean finish on both sides of the saree, making Kadwa sarees highly coveted for their craftsmanship and durability. Aada pattern refers to a traditional diagonal or slanting design element woven across the body of the saree — an elegant, structured motif that adds a geometric rhythmic beauty distinctive to classic Banarasi weaving.
