Kadwa weave is one of the oldest and most authentic Banarasi weaving techniques. In Kadwa, each motif is individually woven into the fabric — thread by thread — without any floating threads on the reverse side. This produces an exceptionally clean finish on both sides of the saree, making Kadwa sarees highly coveted for their craftsmanship and durability. Jaal pattern is one of the most iconic patterns in Banarasi heritage. "Jaal" means net or lattice — the entire body of the saree is covered in a continuous interlocking floral or geometric network. The result is an all-over richly textured look of extraordinary beauty.
