Katan Silk is a tightly twisted, pure mulberry silk. It gives the saree a firm body, a clean drape, and a natural sheen. It is one of the finest silks used in Banarasi weaving.

Stripe is a classic and elegant pattern in Banarasi weaving. Vertical stripes run from top to bottom across the saree body, woven with gold or contrast threads that catch the light beautifully. Stripes give the saree a tall, graceful look when worn.
